The asset-pack tradition

Ask how most object-show creators started, and a lot of them point to the same thing: a parts pack somebody else shared. Bodies, eyes, mouths, arms, and legs, drawn once and passed around so the next person can skip the setup and get straight to animating. A single good mouth pack can carry a whole episode, which is why so many first episodes start from someone else’s shared parts. It’s been the on-ramp for the community for years — packs have circulated on DeviantArt and in creator Discords for about as long as the genre has existed.

We’re keeping that tradition going.

Inanimator’s original packs

We’re making our own asset packs, drawn by hand in the classic object-show style — bodies, eyes, mouths, arms, and legs.

  • Free. Not “free with a watermark,” not “free until you export.” Free.
  • PNG and SVG in every pack. PNG for any app; SVG for crisp scaling and easy recoloring.
  • Usable anywhere. They work in Inanimator, but also in FlipaClip, ToonSquid, Wick Editor, or your editor of choice. We’re not trying to lock you in.
  • No strings. No account required to download, no email gate, no credit card.

(We like a good parts pack. We just think more of them should exist, and that they should be easy to find.)

The first pack

Dropping soon. People on the waitlist hear first — join at /beta and we’ll ping you the day it goes live.

Already in Inanimator

If you’d rather not download and import anything, the same parts come pre-loaded inside Inanimator as a searchable library. Type “eye” or “mouth,” get the matching pieces, drop them on the stage. Recolor a body, swap in the mouth you need, and you’re animating in minutes. The library ships with a starter set of original parts, and your own drawings live in there too.

Want to make something with them? Inanimator is in closed beta. Join the beta at /beta.
